(C Maher) In Equal Class FS(-12.5). Ignore last start and assess on placed effort two runs back. Last time out slowly away when 6th 3.4L, Admirabeel at Cranbourne (Maiden) 1400m. Two back good run when he finished 2nd 0.1L, Hard Go Jo at Warrnambool (Maiden) 1400m. This race suits.
3:40pm Mornington Race 5 Horse 2 Boys Getaround Him
(R Pearson) In Weaker Class FS(-6). Proven at this distance and will also appreciate the easier class of this race. Last run good run when 2nd 0.8L, Done Nothin’ Wrong at Swan Hill (BM-70) 1600m. Two starts back was 1st 2L, Kachiko at Mornington (BM-64) 1500m. Strongly fancied.
4:10pm Kembla Grange Race 6 Horse 1 Mendelssohn
(G Portelli) In Stronger Class FS(1). Harder here but warrants respect on last start win. Most recently he finished 1st 1.5L, Elveda Vegas at Bathurst (CL2) 1400m. Two starts back looked good when he finished 2nd 0.1L, Rightoncue at Kembla Grange (CL2) 1600m. Top hope.
