(N J Rogers) First starter by Pariah out of Petite Diablesse. Trialled on September 1 when second at Port Macquarie over 1000m. Barrier an advantage. Bright start anticipated off the back of a sharp trial and a perfect draw.

(K Vella) Recent form sound. At the latest run made some head-way from midfield; 2nd of 12 at Hamilton Mdn-Sw on September 15 over 1400m, slow going 1.3 len behind Simply Sassy carrying 59.5kg at $3.90. The start before that came from midfield; 2nd of 10 at Warracknabeal Mdn-Sw on August 30 over 1205m, on a slow track; 3.5 len behind Symphonite carrying 59.5kg at $4.20. Doesn’t need to improve a great deal to take this out.

(C Maher) Four-year-old gelding (Toronado – Chatelaine) who was bought for AUD $ 350,000 (Inglis 2023 Australian Easter Yearling Sale). Ciaron Maher has him ready for this with four recent trials prior to his debut today. Ran 3rd in a Newcastle trial over 900m on September 24. Smart trialler who can play a major role on debut.

At big odds at debut, took up a position near the tail 2nd of 13 at Sandown-Hillside 3yo Mdn-Sw on September 3 over 1500m, nose behind Engine Of War with 56kg at $26. Last start got back early in a small field at Flemington 3yo F SWP on September 21 over 1800m, 1.5 len behind After Summer carrying 56kg at $1.85. Has improvement to come and will take beating.

(C J Waller) Last start 4th of 10 at Rosehill Bm72 on October 1 over 1800m, 2.5 len behind United Kingdom carrying 57.5kg at $12. The run before that ran last in a small field at Canterbury Bm72 on September 17 over 1550m, 9 len behind Just A Journey carrying 60.5kg at $3.60. Looking a bit one-paced so this might be a good fit, particularly with Nash standing over him.

At debut last start made some head-way from midfield; 3rd of 10 at Ballarat 2yo Mdn-Sw on May 25 over 1000m, slow going 1.2 len behind Demarcate with 56kg at $12. Had four recent trials to get fit for this. Last trial was runner-up in a jump-out at Echuca on September 22. Expected to feature.

Previously second-up 3rd of 14 at Hawkesbury 3&4yo Bm72 on April 9 over 1500m, 1.75 len behind Enter The Dragon with 57.5kg at $26. Placed four from five when second-up so should do much better.

(M Price & M K Jnr) Third-up today and placed third-up previously. First-up won by 1.3 len at Caulfield F&M Bm78 August 30 over 1400m on a soft track defeating Shadhavar carrying 60.5kg at $3.10. Last start 10th of 13 at this track in the G2 Lets Elope on September 13 over 1400m, 4.5 len behind Lazzura with 56kg at $6.50. No luck last time, can atone.

(A & S Freedman) He is resuming after a seven months break. Not seen since winning by 0.7 len Randwick G2 Todman March 8 over 1200m defeating Wodeton with 56kg at $8.50. On debut fifth of 8 at Sandown-Lakeside in the G3 Chairman’s Stk February 1 over 1000m, 3 len behind Inkaruna with 57kg at $7.50. Rates highly and could be too good.

(M, W & J Hawkes) Second-up. First-up after five months 2nd of 9 at this track in the G2 The Shorts on September 20 over 1100m, 1.2 len behind Joliestar with 58kg at $3.10. Previously second-up won by a nose at this track G1 T J Smith April 5 over 1200m defeating Overpass with 58.5kg at $6.50. Will take a lot from that run and the extra 100m at this stage is ideal.

Before that 2nd of 9 at Warracknabeal Mdn-Sw on August 16 over 1005m, on a slow track; 2 len behind Meisho with 59.5kg at $19. A little off best last time but has good speed and will take catching.
